Valley Welding – From one-man shop to 25 employees, welding and fabrication job shop needs E2 manufacturing software to help manage growth

About Valley Welding

Building a business from a one-man shop to a complete, multi-service operation requires hard work, good business sense, and a rock solid commitment to giving your customers the very best in quality, service and value. Valley Welding has done just that – established in 1976 as a small, one-man business, it has expanded, moved and grown to a 25-man company, able to serve the precision welding and fabrication needs of its demanding hi-tech, biomedical and automotive customers.

“I like the fact that everything is tied together in E2 – payables, receivables, job processing – everything!”

-Dan Valley,
Valley Welding

Why did Valley Choose E2?

Like many business owners, Dan Valley realized that his business had outgrown the DOS-based software program he was running in his shop. He wanted a program that was more current, and easier to use, yet provided more information than his old system. After evaluating several systems, Dan chose E2 – it offered the most comprehensive package, generated the most information, and was user-friendlier than anything else he looked at.

The Results… So Far

Valley Welding has been using E2 for more than four years, and Dan Valley is very satisfied with his choice. His shop runs more efficiently, because information is more centrally located, and easier to access. Because E2 reports give him more information, Dan enjoys more hands-on style of management, – he’s free to run his business, not forced to manage his paperwork.
