Shoptech partners with Vincennes University
September 19, 2008
Shoptech Software has partnered with Vincennes University through their Computer Integrated Manufacturing Program. Shoptech has donated their “Best of Class” E2 Shop System to the university so that students can learn the skill sets to succeed in a computer integrated manufacturing environment.
“We are very excited about the opportunity to work with the folks at Shoptech”, states Douglas Brown, Dean of MTDAM at Vincennes University. “E2 will be the exclusive shop management system in our curriculum. The value-added to the students was astronomical. They will be able to put their E2 skills sets to use the day after graduation.”
“We were honored to be chosen by Vincennes as their system of choice”, states Phil Hutchinson, President and CEO of Shoptech Software. “They truly care about the future of manufacturing in the US and are committed to helping their students compete through the use of technology. Shoptech also realizes that its future is dependent on a skilled labor market in the manufacturing sector, so it’s a win-win for everyone.”
