Exclusive Classroom Training

Are you looking at getting away from the shop for some one-on-one training? You can have an E2 consultant work with your people and your data at one of our regional training centers. Beginner Classroom Training

This course is designed for beginners. Experienced E2 users should attend advanced classes or have an E2 consultant come on-site to your shop for one on one training.

Our In-house, state of the art training centers ensure new users will receive the best "hands on" training that can be offered. The 3 day course outlines how to get "up and running" on the software and will take students through the entire system from start to finish. There are "Lab Times" built into the 3 days so users actually get to enter their own shop information. The Pre-requisite for this course is "Getting Started I and II". All students are required to review the "Getting Started I and II" BEFORE attending the class. Select from five locations: Las Vegas, NV; Chicago, IL; Cincinnati, OH; Houston, TX; and Glastonbury, CT.

Advanced Classroom Training

Designed for experienced E2 users, our Advanced Classes provide an in depth look into the areas of Scheduling and working with Crystal Reports.

  • Advanced Scheduling
    This day long session begins with a review of what it takes to successfully implement scheduling, such as Work Center setup and Job Routers, and concludes with an overview of the Scheduling Module itself, including the Whiteboard, Setting Options and What-If Scheduling.
  • Crystal Reports and the E2 Database (OH & CT ONLY)
    During this 2 day course, users will learn how data is stored in the E2 Shop System and the basics of working with Crystal Reports version XI. Through lecture, discussion and class participation students should expect to learn:
    • E2 Shop System Database concepts
    • Advanced Searches and Hot Spots
    • Planning a report
    • Creating a report
    • Adding data to a report
    • Organizing and formatting a report
    • Creating basic formulas
    • Applying conditional reporting
    • Modifying existing standard reports provided with the E2 Shop System

    Though this class will demonstrate the basics of working with Crystal Reports, we encourage anyone interested in using it for purposes beyond modifying E2 reports to also attend a class presented by Business Objects to learn how to use the program to its fullest potential.
